Our Venture
Intro to Ventures
“We scale and support projects focused on education advancement, poverty eradication, economic empowerment, and healthcare initiatives.”
At The WEIDI Foundation, our ventures are more than just projects—they are purpose-driven vehicles for transformation. We identify gaps in underserved communities and work to close them through innovative, community-led solutions. Each initiative is built around long-term impact, not short-term fixes.
Our venture model combines grassroots insight with bold execution. We co-create with local changemakers, leverage technology where it makes sense, and embed sustainability at the heart of every venture. Whether through education, healthcare, economic opportunity, or poverty alleviation, our ventures are designed to uplift and empower.

Current Projects
At The WEIDI Foundation, we believe in making change happen through three core values: Collaboration, Compassion, and Creativity. These guide everything we do.

Tamani
A mobile platform connecting underserved communities with tutoring and cultural insight.
Tamani is designed to bridge both the academic and cultural divide for students in marginalized communities. More than just a tutoring app, Tamani provides access to culturally relevant education, connects students with mentors who understand their lived experiences, and helps instill pride in their identity alongside academic growth.
- Why it matters: Many students in underserved regions are held back by lack of access to quality education and culturally relevant content. Tamani brings both to the palm of their hands.
- Our Impact So Far: Over 5,000 students connected to mentors, with a growing library of multilingual and culturally inclusive learning modules

Kujenga
Kujenga focuses on breaking cycles of poverty by equipping women with the skills, resources, and support to build sustainable micro-businesses. Through digital literacy training, mentorship, seed funding, and community support groups, we help women become economically self-sufficient and community leaders.
- Why it matters: Women are disproportionately impacted by poverty and limited economic access. Kujenga gives them the tools to reclaim agency over their futures.
- Our Impact So Far: 800+ women trained, 250+ microenterprises launched, and multiple success stories shared across community networks.

AfyaLink
AfyaLink connects individuals in rural and urban under-resourced communities to healthcare resources, preventative care, and telemedicine services. It serves as both an information hub and a patient navigator, ensuring that no one is left behind due to lack of knowledge, access, or support.
- Why it matters: Millions of people face barriers to healthcare—from transportation to language to trust. AfyaLink helps close those gaps with dignity and ease.
- Our Impact So Far: Piloted in 3 districts, facilitating over 2,000 clinic connections and 5,000 health education interactions.

Azima
Azima is a community-based initiative focused on providing education and poverty relief to orphans and children from underserved communities. The program supports vulnerable children through access to schooling, healthcare, nutrition, life skills, and mentorship, working closely with families and local communities.
- Why it matters: Millions of children face a future limited by poverty and lack of education. Kuyenga empowers them with the tools and support needed to break the cycle of poverty and build brighter, self-sufficient futures.
- Our Impact So Far: Since its inception, Kuyenga has supported over 10 children with access to education, daily meals, healthcare, and mentorship. Our programs have led to improved school attendance, higher academic performance, and empowered youth who are now giving back to their communities.
